Ed Rando
Forty (40) plus years of knowledge, skills, and expertise in recruiting and retention of human resources. Having graduated with an undergraduate degree and additional graduate studies in Industrial Relations from Northeastern University. Ed began his successful career as a Recruiter, Senior Recruiter, Recruiting Manager, Employment Manager, Personnel Manager, and Corporate Director of Human Resources, prior to launching Rando Consulting in June of 1970.
Ed has initiated and implemented successful recruiting and retention programs for numerous organizations, and has consulted to firms in most industries. Some client firms grew their staffs and their revenues by over 200%. Ed has also managed the human resource selection of talent for large national companies with multiple locations.
As the Principal and Director of Rando Consulting, Ed has hired, trained, and managed recruiters and sales personnel from novice to expert level. Ed has created and taught formal classroom sessions on a variety of special topics including:
- How to recruit resistant candidates
- How to interview successfully
- Choosing and hiring the right candidate
- Candidate testing
- Making the presentation, the offer, and a “yes” acceptance
- Planning skills
As a Human Resources/IT Placement Consultant he has directed and sold recruiting services to numerous accounts while directing a corporate staff of eleven.
Since June of 1970, Ed has overseen full budget and salary responsibilities for his entire firm, while maintaining the delivery of human resource services successfully and under budget.
Ed is a highly seasoned interpersonal expert, and a master of recruitment.
